U.S. Beauties National Pageant

The *Miss *Mrs. U.S. Beauties Pageant organization would like to
announce that the 2009 "Salute to Hollywood" National Pageant will be
held at the beautiful Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts in
Schaumburg Illinois on July 10, 11 & 12, 2009.
The Prairie Center Theatre is a 442 seat stepped-up arrangement with
excellent sight lines. The Prairie Center has a total of four dressing
rooms. There are two at stage level and two on the upper level and each have
mirrors, make-up lights, private rest rooms, showers, costume racks,
clearcom, etc.
A fabulous Academy Awards Style "Salute To Hollywood" Dinner Dance will
be held before the national pageant competition on Friday July 10, 2009. The
national pageant competition will be held on Sunday July 12, 2009.

- Special Contestant Crowning Ceremony:
- We want to make all "at large" contestants feel like a Queen. If
there is a pageant consultant representing your state or if we can
assign a special crowning coordinator, the U.S. Beauties National
Pageant Organization will sponsor a crowning ceremony for each state
and regional "at large" contestant. Pictures will be taken and
placed on this websites "Crowning Page" More information will be
given to each "at large" contestant once their entry fee is paid.
- Pageant Hotel:
- Hotel fees are the responsibility of each contestant. Special
rates will be given to each contestant, family & friends attending
the national pageant. The location & rates is as follows:

- $129.00 - Single Occupancy

- Tickets are $15.00 a piece for Sunday's National Pageant
Competition Finals. There will be no preliminary competition.
- Program Book Ads:
- selling program books ads are not mandatory but by choice only.
- Friday Night Dinner Dance:
- A scheduled "Salute to Hollywood" Friday Night Dinner Dance is
planned before the national pageant competition and will include an
Academy Awards type presentation complete with contestants "walk of
fame" stars. Special guests are planning to attend and surprise our
contestants. Tickets are $100.00 a person. Family & Friends are
invited.

- Ages:
- Miss - 18 years and over
- Mrs. - 20 years and over legally married
- Scoring:
- 30% Interview
- 25% High Fashion
- 25% Evening Gown
- 20% Beauty of Face
- Personal Appearances:
- If contestants would like to attend personal appearances within
in their town, community & state before the national pageant, the
national office will arrange personal appearances for all
contestants however personal appearances are not mandatory and has
nothing to do with the scoring procedure.
- Contestant Headshot & Crown & Banner Photo Requirements:
- Headshot pictures are displayed first on our national pageant
website contestant page. Pictures should be clear crisp pictures
with no background clutter. After your entry fee is paid we will
mail you a crown and banner and then we will need a crown and banner
picture.
Crown and banner pictures should be taken by a professional
photographer with no background clutter. The crown and banner
headshot picture will be placed in the 2009 *Miss *Mrs. U.S.
Beauties National Pageant Contestant Program Book, judged by our
pageant photographer for the photogenic award, judged by our web
master for the online photo contest and showcased at the national
pageant.
Pictures need to be about 400 x 600 in size with no background
clutter. For your professional crown and banner photo session by
your photographer ..make-up should be applied appropriately along
with a good hairstyle and nice clothing...no midriff top etc.
- Photogenic:
- All crown & banner pictures will be submitted for the U.S.
Beauties National Pageant Photogenic Award selected by our pageant
photographer.
- Refer a Friend | Family, Ad | Ticket Sales Program:
- to help pay your entry fee we are offering our "Refer a Family /
Friend" or Ad/Ticket Sales Program. If you are interested please

National Pageant:
- Opening Number
- Salute to Hollywood...contestant will wear white above the
knee halter style dresses. Dresses have been selected and
information will be given to all contestants.
- Pageant Seminar
- Each contestant will be instructed on what will be required
for the judges interview and on stage competiton.
- Photo Shoot:
- Each contestant will participate in a photo session. One winner
will have their photo appear on the front cover of the 2009 *Miss
*Mrs. U.S. Beauties National Pageant Calendar, the winner will
receive a sash, acrylic award & a $100.00 cash prize. Our dress
photo session winner will be selected by our national pageant
photographer. Solid color only....fancy above the knee dress
required.

- Sunday National Pageant Competition:
- The national pageant competition will be held on Sunday July 12,
2009. A preliminary competition will not be held. All contestants
will compete and the top 5 will be announced on stage. The top 5
will then be interviewed on stage. From the top 5 the 4th, 3rd, 2nd,
1st and winner will be selected by our panel of judges. Competition
will include judges interview, on stage high fashion & evening gown.

Please Note: One winner from the Miss Division & one winner from the
Mrs. division will each win an award!
Exciting News!! At the 2009 National Pageant we will
surprise one of our contestants with the U.S. Beauties Ambassador Sash &
Crown. This special crown and banner will be given to the contestant who
has displayed commitment, loyalty and dedication while wearing her state
crown. With this crown she will be a spokesperson for many women who
want to compete at the 2010 national pageant by encouraging them and
building up their self esteem with the positive awareness of why
prospective contestants will benefit by competing in our pageant
competitions, whether at the state or national level.
Main Competition:
- Judges Interview
- Each contestant will meet with a panel of 5 judges who
will ask questions from the contestant fact sheets. Interview
will last 5 minutes.
- High Fashion
- In place of the swim wear competition we will have our
"High Fashion" competition. Our contestants will model their
"High Fashion" outfit on stage. The outfit has to look stylish
and classy. Sparkle, glitz and rhinestones is acceptable.
- Evening Gown
- Will be full length to the floor. A glamorous & elegant
type of gown is what each contestant should wear.
