Rules & Regulations U.S. Beauties National Pageant
- Citizen:
- Must be a United States Citizen. Natural born female.
- Competition Age:
- Miss 18 years & over
- Mrs. 20 years & over
- You must be 18 years of age to compete in our pageant system. If
you are not 18 years of age you will have to wait to compete. No one
under 18 years old will be accepted even with a parents signature.
- Right to Refuse:
- We have the right to refuse a contestant entry into our pageant
system.
- Miss:
- A woman who is a single mother is allowed to compete in the U.S. Beauties
National Pageant.
- Entry Fee:
-
There will be a contestant entry fee which all contestants must pay
& is their responsibility. This entry fee can be sponsored by
companies or businesses. The entry fee can be paid several ways...at
one time, on a payment plan or by selling sponsor ad's. If you don't
submit an entry fee as requested you will lose your title & no
refunds will be issued. Entry fee cannot be carried into the next
year under no circumstances without approval from the U.S. Beauties
Pageant System. There are no refunds once the contestant payment
plan has begun. Entry fee's are due within 3 months of accepting
your "at large" title. "At large" meaning a contestant selected to
compete at the national pageant should she not have a state pageant
to compete in.
Please Note: the following will need to be adhered to as this
will make for a smooth flow as our contestants represent their state
& regional title and prepare for the national pageant competition.
Once a contestant is awarded her at large title and pays her deposit
we will request each contestant to periodically stay in touch with
us via email. If we don't hear back from a contestant after emailing
the contestant several times we will assume the contestant no longer
wants to compete and we will open her title again. No entry fee
deposit refunds will be issued.
- Fee:
- A $75.00 non-refundable commitment application fee will be
applied towards the entry fee. This fee is due immediately when you
accept your "at large" title.
- Refer a Friend:
- "Refer A Friend" & you will receive $25.00 off your entry fee
and you can have as many referrals as you would like. You will
receive $25.00 off your entry fee when your referral pays her entry
fee in full. If you have already paid your entry fee you will
receive a rebate check mailed to your home.
- Financial Responsibility:
- Contestants are taking on the financial responsibility by competing in
our pageant. All rules MUST be observed.
- Crowns & Banners:
- U.S. Beauties Crowns & Banners will be mailed to each contestant after
their entry fee is paid. Once you receive your hometown, city, state /
regional crown & banner you will be asked to submit a crown & banner
picture. A professional picture is not necessary. You can take your picture
at home with no back ground clutter. Please email picture if you can.
- Refunds:
- We will absolutely not refund entry fee's, trip fee's or purchases under
any circumstances & entry fee's are not transferable unless approved by the
U.S. Beauties National Pageant System.
- PayPal:
- PayPal is accepted. PayPal account is
DenDiBud@aol.com
- Hotel:
- Contestants competing will stay at host hotel & will be under the
supervision of pageant staff. Contestants will not visit the rooms of staff.
Leaving the building at any time during the competition will not be
permitted (Unless it is a planned event through the pageant). U.S. Beauties
Pageant is not responsible for the pageant hotel & services not provided.
Contestants will pay for their 3 night pageant hotel stay. Special hotel
rates will apply.
- Travel:
- Contestants are responsible for their own transportation to the pageant.
- Titles:
- We will assign hometown, state, city, county & regional titles.
- Non Mandatory Ad Placement:
- If you would like to place an ad in the program book the following
prices are as follows...$100.00 full page, $75.00 half page,
$50.00 quarter page & $25.00 business size card ad. Most
contestants prefer best wishes ads.
- Misrepresentation:
- U.S. Beauties Pageant System will not allow employees, contestants or
winners to misrepresent their title or position for the purpose of receiving
personal monetary gratuities & or gifts. If misrepresentation is found to be
true the employee, contestants or winners involved will be immediately
terminated & the winners crown & banner will go to the 1st runner-up.
- Tickets:
- Tickets are $15.00 a piece for Sunday's National Pageant Competition
Finals. There will be no preliminary competition.
- Representing:
- When our pageant representatives make an appearance in the U.S. Beauties
crown & banner your picture cannot be mailed or emailed to another pageant
system, newspaper, printed on flyers, literature or business cards,
cooperate company or business unless you get written permission from U.S.
Beauties Pageant System.
- Other Pageant Titles:
- We do allow our contestants & queens to compete in other pageant
systems, but they must first be approved by the pageant staff.
- Appearances:
- All personal appearances that you are asked to attend while representing
the U.S. Beauties Pageant System MUST be approved by U.S. Beauties Pageant.
The U.S. Beauties National Pageant will help each contestant schedule
personal appearances within their town & community. You will be asked to
sign a personal appearance form before you start to attend personal
appearances while wearing the U.S. Beauties Crown & Banner. When you are at
an appearance you can only be representing one title at a time. (No Crown
Swapping for Pictures etc..)
- Conduct:
- U.S. Beauties Pageant Representatives will conduct herself in a
professional courteous manner while representing her title.
- Responsibility:
- U.S. Beauties Pageant & Staff will not be responsible for sponsors that
will not fulfill their promise to give their gifts to our winners &
contestants.
- Paperwork:
- All required competition paperwork information must be submitted on the
due dates requested by the director.
- Changes:
- Our pageant competitions is subject to change without notice.
- Soliciting:
- We will take firm action against anyone whom may solicit our contestants
for another pageant system or any reason. Our contestants will inform us if
they are trying to be recruited by another contestant or another pageant
system. At our pageants we will NOT tolerate any soliciting or recruiting by
our contestants, family member, friends or guest. Our contestants are to
inform staff of any soliciting. The solicitor will be given a firm warning &
if the solicitor continues to solicit they will be asked to leave. Emails
may not be exchanged for the sole purpose of recruiting for another pageant
system.
- Respect:
- Contestants will ONLY look solely to the U.S. Beauties Pageant &
National Directors relating to all aspects of this competition.
- Obligations:
- Winners can have a modeling, commercial obligations or agencies but
cannot use our name without the expressed written consent of U.S. Beauties &
their directors.
- Prizes:
- If you forget to take your prizes home with you after your pageant you
will forfeit them. They will not be sent to you unless you will pay for the
mailing cost.
- Scores:
- Contestant scores will be given after the pageant is over. No scores
will be mailed after the pageant competition is over. Each contestant will
receive their scores only and not the scores of another contestant. Scores
can be received after the pageant by kindly asking our auditor. The auditor
will not answer any questions asked by a contestant. No one is to bother the
auditor at the national pageant.
- Tie Score:
- If there is a tie in the Miss or Mrs. division...the judges
interview score will break the tie or in other words the person with
the highest interview score in the Miss and Mrs. divisions will win
the national title.
- Contract:
- You will be required to sign a contract should you win our U. S.
Beauties National Pageant Title and must be respected by the new national
queen while she wears the U. S. Beauties National Pageant Crown & Banner.
- Consideration:
- Our U. S. Beauties Pageant National Queens are expected to give us
dedication time & loyalty within their one year reign. Should you want to
compete in other pageants or competitions you will need written permission
from U.S. Beauties Pageant & their directors. We must hear from all
representatives once a month by email or telephone and all contact
information given to the U. S. Beauties National Pageant Organization must
be current & updated. Winners are expected to give their time & attention to
the U. S. Beauties Pageant title.
- Publicity:
- Applicants will allow the U.S. Beauties Pageant & U.S. Beauties Pageant
use of their picture, voice, likeness, for publicity purpose on the
Internet, literature, flyers & U.S. Beauties logo products. Contestants &
winners will waive all compensation for purposes of publicity and promotion.
- Conduct:
- No swearing, gossiping or drinking will be allowed during the
competition or at the pageant events. Good sportsmanship is expected at all
times during and after the competition. Drugs of any kind will not be
allowed around the pageant contestants or at the national pageant. Delegate
will conduct herself in a courteous manner at all times during the pageant
and while representing her U. S. Beauties Pageant title. If at the pageant a
contestant become disruptive verbally, swearing, drinking or afterwards
posting verbal negative messages on boards, they will not be allowed to
compete in future U.S. Beauties Pageant competitions at the preliminary,
state or national level.
- Liability:
- Representatives will not hold the U.S. Beauties Pageant System or staff
responsible for injuries or illness while at the pageant competition. Any
cost due to damage of property will be at your expense.
- Proof of Residence:
- As a representative I will provide proof of residency (current bill,
driver's license, school record, state ID or birth certificate) I understand
that if I do not provide the national office with this I will not be able to
compete.
- Dressing Room:
- No one is allowed in the dressing rooms besides contestants & staff
unless approved by the national directors or approved supervisors in charge
at the national pageant.
- Itinerary:
- Everyone must arrive on time for rehearsals, planned pageant events and
their pageant competition and follow the itinerary as planned. We will not
wait for a contestant if she is late arriving to the rehearsals, events or
pageant competition. (Even during he competition)
- Character:
- Contestant must be of good moral character and hasn't committed any act
that would show unfavorable on the U.S. Beauties Pageant system or its
representatives. Contestant has not appeared in any nude or provocative
photos for any magazine or film company prior to her participation in the
U.S. Beauties Pageant or during her reign as our U.S. Beauties Pageant
winner.
- Checks:
- All bank checks presented will be validated and must clear before crowns
& banners will be mailed. Crowns & Banners will be mailed 2 weeks after
their check clears. Contestants who does NSF a check will be liable for a
$45.00 NSF Fee.
- Disqualification:
- If a contestant is disqualified for any reason there will be no refunds.
Once a contestant is disqualified for non payment she will have to pay her
entry fee in full to reassume her title minus payments already made. If our
winner or winners title is disqualified or relinquished the first runner-up
will assume the title & all prizes. Prizes must be returned to the national
office in good condition within one week.
- Sponsor Abuse:
- To avoid sponsor abuse all sponsor checks will be written out to U.S.
Beauties Pageant or the State Director in charge. Directors will then apply
money to contestant entry fee and mail back the balance to the contestant.
Each contestant will be required to send a monthly updated sponsor sheet to
all pageant directors. The monthly sponsor sheet will contain the names &
locations of each sponsor. U.S. Beauties Pageant System will not be held
liable for contestants collecting cash & checks from sponsors without
notifying their director of this per monthly updated sponsor sheet.
- Slander:
- U.S. Beauties Pageant representatives will not slander other
contestants, judges, staff or U.S. Beauties Pageant, this competition or
those involved. Conduct forms will have to signed at the welcome party and
if any slander remarks either written or orally are found to be true, legal
charges may be imposed.
- Defamation:
- Of character concerning U.S. Beauties Pageant competitions, directors &
staff will be immediate grounds for dismissal & forfeiture of any prizes won
and legal charges may be imposed.
- Attorney:
- If an attorney needs to get involved for any matters concerning
the * Miss *Mrs. U.S. Beauties Pageant Organization / System,
Directors, Staff, Contestants, Judges, Hotel, Restaurant & Persons
Involved with the *Miss *Mrs. U.S. Beauties Pageant Organization /
System all fee's to our attorney and the party involved claiming the
lawsuit will be the responsibility of the party involved in the
dispute.
- Judges:
- The competition judges decision is final.
- Photos:
- Contestants & winners will present photos to the U.S. Beauties Pageant
for the pageant scrapbook.
- Contract:
- Contestants are required to sign a contract the day that they become our
winner and will expire when they crown a new winner the following year.
Winners will make a minimum of 10 appearances as she reigns for one year.
Appearances may include parades, radio, interviews & personal appearance
events. Winners will email or mail pictures of each personal appearance that
they will attend for the pageant personal appearance page, websites &
literature. The U.S. Beauties National Director will help coordinate
schedule personal appearances.
- Loss:
- U.S. Beauties Pageant is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to
all prizes & awards given to the contestants, runner-up & winners. If a
contestant or winner crown is damaged and is beyond repair the replacement
will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Negligence:
- U.S. Beauties Pageant is not responsible for fraud or negligence on the
part of pageant sponsors, vendors such as photographer & videographer who
may be supplying their services or products to contestants & winners.
- Preliminary Pageant:
- U.S. Beauties Pageant System is not liable for anything connected with
the preliminary pageant. Contestants will look solely to her preliminary
director regarding the rules, regulations, polices & preparation concerning
the preliminary pageant.
- Videography:
- Video cameras will not be allowed during the pageant competition. Our
U.S. Beauties Pageant videographer will have VHS or DVD's for purchase
should yourself or family want a copy of your pageant competition. U.S.
Beauties Pageant will not be held responsible for purchased DVD's & VHS
Tapes not given to contestants.
- Photography:
- Cameras are not allowed during the pageant competition. Our U.S.
Beauties Pageant photographer will take professional pageant pictures should
you want to purchase them. U.S. Beauties Pageant will not be held
responsible for purchased photo packages not given to contestants.
- Deadlines:
- All deadlines must be meet concerning entry fee, paperwork, required
crown & banner picture & information required by the pageant director.
- Minors:
- Guest or audience member under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an
adult. U.S. Beauties Pageant System will not assume responsibility for a
minor.
- U.S. Beauties Myspace:
- when our *Miss *Mrs. U.S. Beauties Prelim, State & National
Queens/Contestants design a U.S. Beauties Pageant Myspace , all MySpace's
should not contain inappropriate wording or music.
