2008 Mrs. U.S. Beauties Queen
Jeannie Deakyne
Dear Prospective 2009 Mrs. U.S. Beauties Contestant:
Welcome to the beginning of a wonderful journey as you consider joining the
U.S. Beauties Family at the 2009 U.S. Beauties National Pageant!
I am proud to represent this wonderful system and all of the National Queens
who have come before me. One of our nation's greatest assets lies in the
determined strength of the American Woman; the *Miss *Mrs. U.S. Beauties
National Pageant embraces and promotes that strength.
The U.S. Beauties National Pageant System is unparalleled in its endeavors
to uplift women who want to excel in their lives and make a difference in
their communities - they celebrate and support your energy, commitment to
marriage and family, and your desire to challenge yourself. Whether you are
considering representing your local or state title, the U.S. Beauties
National Staff and team of State Directors and Consultants are committed to
helping you achieve your goals. What sets this system apart from all others
is that they are truly dedicated to assisting you through all phases of this
journey - from pageant preparation, to health and fitness training, to
appearance scheduling. And you'll find that the former state and national
queens don't stop after their reigns have ended - the U.S. Beauties Family
returns to support its new queens year after year like no other pageant
system I've ever seen!
As Mahatma Gandhi once said, "Be the change you want to see in the world."
If you are looking for a way to change the world - whether it is by
improving yourself, your neighborhood, or a little bit more - this is the
perfect vehicle to make that change. During my Year of Service as Mrs. U.S.
Beauties 2008, I will act as an ambassador for the U.S. Beauties Pageant
System as well as work in conjunction with the Lupus Foundation of America
(LFA) as their "Living with Lupus" National Spokeswoman. The LFA is the
nation's leading nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated to Lupus.
Through its over 300 chapters nationwide, the LFA conducts programs of
research, education and advocacy - improving the diagnosis and treatment of
Lupus, supporting individuals and families affected by the disease,
increasing awareness of Lupus among health professionals and the public, and
finding the causes and cure.
I look forward to hearing your stories of personal accomplishment and
meeting each of you at the 2009 U.S. Beauties National Pageant.
Best wishes in 2008, and let the journey begin!
