Originally from Central California, as a young ambitious woman I ventured to the coast where I lifted my career in culinary arts as the owner of Andy-Dandy Gourmet, but later found my hearts desires were being lead in another direction. I have overcome many life challenges from the everyday struggles of an eager woman refusing to fall prisoner into the opinionated world, to recently beating cancer and being told I could not succeed.
I refused to listen! So I began challenging myself to do what I feared whether it was entering my first beauty pageant or moving to an unknown city. I moved onward taking my desires to help other woman gain the confidence in mind, body and spirit. In 2007 I started educational training as a nurse where I chose to specialize in Psychiatric Care. Through My time as a Psychiatric nurse I have seen a different side of this world and have so much more insight and enthusiasm to help those struggling inside. Volunteering and service have been a major part of my life, I currently am the organizer of a women’s group for dedicated to reach out to women struggling with eating disorders as well a volunteer for a suicide hotline. If I can offer hope somehow...Then I will! to anyone in any situation and whatever it takes.
In this time I have come across so many beautiful women whom put a label of shame on their bodies and shun their ambitions because they do not feel worthy enough. If only we had more voices in the community to strengthen and shape the young girls and women, with that being said, I want to shout to the world .My dreams are simply not to make millions or live a lavish life….they are to be a light to empower woman to seek inner and outer confidence and let that inner diva shine NO MATTER WHAT OBSTACLES MAY COME!
