Success Story

I am honored to represent Iowa in the U.S. Beauties Pageant – what an adventure this has been! Success is simple – it is not what you get out of something but what everyone around you does. Every appearance made is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

For 10 years I have been promoting my platform of Literacy nationwide. I have partnered with First Book and started my own advisory board in Iowa raising over $25,000. I truly believe “One illiterate citizen is one too many.

I also recently adopted another platform of Breast Cancer Awareness. My mother was diagnosed in November and had a mastectomy in December. What an eye opener to be volunteering with the “Fight Like a Girl” program and the American Cancer Society as a spokesperson.

I work at Kaplan University as an Admissions Advisor. Daily I help students choose career paths and set personal goals. My husband Stephen and I have 2 beautiful children Grayce, 3, and newborn Tristan. Family means everything to me and is one of the key ingredients to my success story.
