Life is too short to second guess... Live as if there will be no tomorrow...

I believe I am successful because I am happy and I am enjoying life. We only have one life so you must make it the best! My whole life I worked extremely hard to finish my goals I set forth. Through out my entire family I am the only one who was able to finish college. Even though I needed to hold three jobs while doing so I still found time to continue dancing and be an active sorority member. While getting my bachelors degree I was able to become president of my sorority Chi Iota Omega. This was a success to be because I was able to with hold high grades in school while attaining three jobs and continue my studies in education. Everyone compares being successful to the type of career you have, I feel you are only truly successful if you’re excited to wake up everyday and go to that career and complete your goals you set forth.

As mentioned before dancing is a big part of my life. I have been completive dancer since I was three years of age. I believe dance has brought great success to my life. It allowed me to express myself and gave me a way to stay focused in life.

I am currently in St John’s University on the Staten Island campus working for my masters in teaching general and special education. I teach in a preschool now, it is a Montessori school and I honestly love every second there. To be a teacher is a dream on mine! I love seeing my student’s faces when they realize they have accomplished a new lesson. My fifth grade teacher is one of my role models and I want to be the same for a future student of mine. One day I will be able to share my love for teaching with my students and hopefully inspire them like they have done for me. We must remember these children are our future and we must be great role models for them. 

You can only truly be successful when you accomplish your goals and look back and remember of all the great things you were able to do. I can look back already and see a great path I have created for myself and this is why I am successful.
